Class Overview

This beginner-friendly, one-day workshop introduces students to the fundamentals of flame working with borosilicate glass while building confidence and creativity in glass sculpture. Through a series of guided demonstrations and hands-on projects, students will explore essential techniques such as flame chemistry, basic marble making, pulling and laying stringers, and sculpting small-scale solid forms.

As the class progresses, students will develop skills in shaping, twisting, and assembling glass, learning how to transform simple forms into more expressive, miniature sculptures.
